TransPod is developing a new aerospace vehicle for ultra-high-speed transportation, the FluxJet. The FluxJet is built like an aircraft but operates like a train, for 1000+km/h transportation between cities. A flight control system and a plasma-based power transmission are key technologies for this electric system, to provide fossil-fuel-free mass transit for passengers and cargo. The company is partnering with the governments of Alberta, Texas, Australia, and the UAE, to develop TransPod corridors between major cities.

Hear from: Dr. Ryan Janzen is a scientist, entrepreneur, and innovator, known for pioneering advancements in physics, transportation, and cybernetics. As co-founder and CTO of TransPod, he leads the development of next-generation ultra-high-speed aerospace vehicles exceeding 1000 km/h. He has directed large teams and established research programs across multiple countries. His work has been featured in major media outlets and over 110 international lectures and publications. Janzen holds a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and received the 2018 Innovation of the Year Award.
