StartHouse 2025

StartHouse is a 10-week accelerator where a cohort of 20 student founders develops their startups with access to successful entrepreneurs, VCs, and investors. Over the past two years, our program has had huge success: most of the teams continue building their companies in various fields, and some have been funded by top-tier VC’s and accelerators. Now in its third year, StartHouse continues to evolve, attracting more student founders and making a greater impact on MIT’s startup ecosystem. We do everything we can to help MIT students launch a successful venture with our resources, connections, workshops, and most importantly a community of like-minded people.

How does StartHouse work?

  • 6 weeks pre-IAP to build the momentum to accelerate your startup’s development during the full-time focus over IAP.
  • 2 weeks during IAP to build your startup, learn from successful founders and peers, and get advice from VCs and industry professionals.
  • a week in San Francisco to meet with Bay Area founders, MIT alums, VCs, accelerators, and others prominent in the ecosystem.
  • last week of IAP for teams to fine-tune their products and pitches for the Demo Day.

What do you get from StartHouse?

  • An amazing community of other student founders at MIT.
  • Motivation to work on your startup full-time over IAP in a co-working space.
  • Workshops, office hours, meetings with Boston and Bay Area founders, VCs, investors, industry professionals, and peers.
  • Access to the San Francisco startup ecosystem during our one-week trip.
  • Connections, opportunities, and exceptional experience.
  • And much more!
